ONDADURTO TEATRO is an international company founded in 2005, based in Rome Italy.

It is led by Marco Paciotti and Lorenzo Pasquali and has flourished thanks to the joint efforts of those who have been involved in projects and activities over the years. The research and the artwork of ONDADURTO TEATRO are focused on Physical Theatre, Nouveau Cirque and Gesture. The different techniques of expression we use help to create a strong visual language that enables us to interact with people of any age, ethnicity and culture and to reach an international audience.

Margine Operativo

Margine Operativo (Operating Margin) ) is a multidisciplinary artistic project and a company of theatre.
It is active in the spheres of theatre, performance arts and video.
It is coordinated by Alessandra Ferraro and Pako Graziani. Since its early stages, Margine Operativo took on a multiform nature that pushed it to engage with various dimensions of artistic and cultural production. It is in the group’s DNA to think of arts as a device that can trigger change and strive for connections with other projects /artists/spaces. Margine Operativo each year, since 2001, creates the multidisciplinary festival Attraversamenti Multipli.

protagon e.V. – friends and supporters of free theater action“ is organizing theatre events, social-cultural projects, workshops and seminars dedicated to themes of the theatre genre and performing arts. 
Activities are addressed to artists and public, partner organisations and individuals of the region and Europe-wide.
One important goal achieved is the establishment of a cultural centre in the east of Frankfurt city. Another is the realization of the international theatre festival in Frankfurt called „Sommerwerft“. Through this 17 days long summer festival, protagon has become an important part in the cultural landscape of the Rhein-Main region.

DANIG PERFORMING ARTS SERVICE has since 2014 under the leadership of Susanne Danig been working with consulting and producing within the performing arts international doing workshops, mentorships and coaching. The focus is to help performing artists unfold their full potential through mastering personal leadership and artistic entrepreneurship. The organization is based in Denmark where it also heads BIRCA – Bækkelund International Residency Center for Artists.

inBORGO Performing Arts Festival – A real mix of urban and narrative theatre, new circus, performing arts and video art, where the shows are invited to celebrate the meeting of cultures, of different forms of expression and of genres.
INBORGO FESTIVAL is the Cultural Laboratory of ONDADURTO TEATRO.
With its activity contributes to audience theatre education, with particular attention on new generations, and to raising awareness of public to arts and culture. The festival is constantly working for the development of languages in performing arts and other artistic expressions, in particular in the field of urban theater and street art.

INEUROFF Festival – An encounter between different expressive languages in an urban setting. Site-specific theatre, contemporary circus, documentary films, large scale shows, dance, music-concerts. The chosen venues play a vital role: EUR and TRASTEVERE.
The first venue is the cornerstone of the Roman Business District. Due to its unique architectural features, EUR proposes the ideal proportions and scenographic backdrop to give life to various kinds of artistic productions, such as large-scale spectacles and site-specific shows.
The second one is the downtown of the city, in the neighborhood of the Movida of Rome.

Attraversamenti Multipli

Attraversamenti Multipli (Multiple Crossovers) is a multidisciplinary festival (theatre-dance-site specific-music-comics-video–street art) created and organized by Margine Operativo on yearly basis since 2001.
Attraversamenti Multipli investigates on the relationship between contemporary artistic languages and the present times, by placing events in urban areas and vital locations of the city of Rome. Attraversamenti Multipli is a project which dwells on the border lines between different artistic codes and in the proximity areas between arts and life.
Attraversamenti Multipli hosted dozens of artists from both the Italian and international contemporary scene. With a special focus on the independent and “new” scene, the festival chose uncommon locations reaching out to a wide and diversified audience. The festival’s mission is to bring performance arts in inhabited spaces and unusual areas, so as to interact with a vast variety of people and use such artistic actions to enhance the spaces themselves – seeing them in as spaces of life and relations.

Sommerwerft – This international theatre festival is a unique event in Frankfurt behind the European Central Bank at the river Main. Theatre, music, poetry, dance, film and other arts , the contrast between freedom and standards and between tradition and modernity in our city is seldom found so clearly as on these 17 days of festival, where all cultural events are for free. With over 300 volunteers working and more than 500 artists performing it is also a symbol of a collective will for free culture for everyone.

BIRCA is placed on the island of Bornholm and during summer hosts artists from all over the world in residencies and for workshops in the two big rehearsal studios. The farmhouse buildings are situated in the middle of 3,31 hectares of land, beautiful fields with a small stretch of forest nearby. BIRCA is a refuge for artists and researchers who seek peace and quiet and inspiring natural surroundings in which to develop their ideas. Foreningen BIRCA Residency host the residency programs.
